Joy and Tom Frerotte

Creating their dream restaurant was not an easy beginning. Tom and Joy both worked several jobs to save the money to begin the original chop Stick Café that was located on the corner of Kent and Piccadilly Street in Winchester, Virginia. A small efficiency apartment over the location became the family home. Together with their children pitching in at home and the restaurant. Tom and Joy began sharing thier homemade Asian cuisine with our community. Each item placed on the menu was truly a labor of love, perfecting recipes from both of their culinary backgrounds.

10 years later, Chop Stick Café is located at 207 North Kent Street and is once again expanding. The couple has purchased the adjoining property and will be adding a noodle bar, event space, pick-up order lounge and of course, more delicious Thai Cuisine.
